A Magical Moment is #140 in the Camfield series and was published in April 1995. Lencia deceives her stepmother and takes her sister across the channel to visit chateau in France! She disguises herself as a widow and falls in love with the handsome Duc de Montrichard.
I can't tell if the circular thing is a broach or some kind of decoration. Weird. Bring back the illustrated covers! Part BC.com now has an illustration for this book, which I've added. Much prettier than the US one.
