The Loveless Marriage

The Loveless Marriage is #139 in the Camfield series and was published in March 1995. Fyna MacSteel is promoted as a bride to the Earl of Braradale in an attempt for peace among their clans. They agree and begin as friends while planning King George's royal visit to Scotland. This is the first of the non-couple covers. It's odd to see and hard for me, since I like having a cover with the hero and heroine on it. It's a long way from our delightful Francis Marshall illustrated books! The next 6 left in the Camfield series have these covers. Maybe they knew the series was coming to an end.
