The Incomparable is #137 in the Camfield series and was published in January 1995. Amorita Howe's nanny needed an operation and to raise the money, she and her brother hope to win a prize at a contest being held by the Earl of Eldridge.
On this cover by Forlag, we see a bored hero as he glances at the angelic heroine while at a dinner party. The Indian girl next to him is sultry and we see servants in the background of this well lit room. The heroine seems the good and pure girl on the cover and we know that is who always wins the heart of the hero in Barbara Cartland's books!
