The Dare-Devil Duke is #132 in the Camfield series and was published in August 1994. Kasia Ross is an heiress but determined to choose her own husband! So she gets employment as a governess in Dreghorne Castle and meets her charge's uncle, the Duke and saves her charge from some kidnappers!
This is a cute picture of our heroine and her charge in a tree when the hero comes by and notices them! Again, the smaller picture doesn't do it justice, but I like that the white of her gown is vivid in all of the sunlight and greenery. It looks like an interesting moment of meeting!
