A Knight in Paris

A Knight in Paris is #68 in the Camfield series and was published in April 1989. The Earl of Charncliffe travels to Paris chasing after the Incomparable, but finds a treasure in a lovely Comtesse, just after he becomes engaged to the other lady. Can a miracle of true love still happen?

I like this cover because we have a rarity: a brunette heroine! It's so rare to see them on Barbara Cartland's covers! Our couple are at a reception with the emperor Napoleon. The drawing room is very ornately decorated and the guests are dressed finely. It's an interesting cover and would make me want to read the story.

  1. If it's a rarity to see a brunette heroine, it's an impossibility to see a hero, who is not dark haired :)

  2. Yes! There are a few in the Bantam series!!
