A Call of Love is #101 in the Pink Collection and was published in February 2013. Lord Kenington is sent by the prime minister to travel to India and find out about the Russian menace there. On board, he meets Aisha Warde, who asks him to help her as she is traveling alone and another man is being annoying. When he finds out that her father is in The Great Game, he escorts her to India and further to the North West Frontier to find her father, after he doesn't show up to meet her in Calcutta.
This cover is identical to Camfield #110, A Kiss in Rome.http://barbaracartlandbooksandcoverart.blogspot.com/2012/02/kiss-in-rome.html

I have collected many Barbara Cartland books and my versions are mostly published by Pan or Corgi.
ReplyDeleteAlthough the artwork may look the same from your version, but I think the artwork look more beautiful under Pan or Corgi publication.
Let me know if you want to the art work.

ReplyDeleteThank you! Yes, they are reusing artwork that was originally on previous Cartland romances. I love the ones done by Francis Marshall.
