Dancing on a Rainbow

Dancing on a Rainbow is #43 in the Camfield series and was published in March 1987. Lady Loretta's father is forcing her into marriage with the Marquis of Sauerdun, the son of a good friend. She is aghast at the thought of an arranged marriage and is determined to prove to her father that he is a rake!

We see our couple standing in front of a beautiful fountain and dressed in evening clothes of the 1880's. Our heroine uses pink roses to accent her blue bustle gown and hair. The hero is elegant in tails. It's a pretty and romantic scene and much nicer than the earlier risque covers!

  1. The 1950's first edition cartland covers are also worth looking at. they are reminiscent of first edition Heyers

  2. I've seen a few, but don't own any. Thanks for the tip!
