The Earl Rings a Belle is #88 in the Camfield series and was published in December 1990. Donela Colwyn has run away from an arranged marriage and is now performing in a Music Hall as one of Basil Bank's Three Belles! There she meets the handsome Earl of Huntingford, who makes her an improper offer! When she overhears a plot against the Earl, she decides to help him in spite of her feelings towards him and thus a romance begins!
I really like this cover. On it, we see our couple standing in a library of a home in an embrace. I love the heroine's pink and blue gown, which has a bit of a theatrical look to it. She is a perfect foil for the hero, dressed in gray. It's a happy cover and we know that if we read this book, we are guaranteed a happy ending by Barbara Cartland!
