Haunted is #32 in the Camfield series and was published in April 1986. The Marquis of Heroncourt, back from the Napoleonic wars, is bored until he rescues Mimosa Field and her young brother, an earl, from an evil heir to the earldom. Can he complete this task and keep his heart intact?
This is a pretty cover of our couple. It's interesting that the people are vivid and the background is soft and almost fuzzy in appearance. The light and colors mimic the heroine's nightgown.
I'm always amazed at how many stories Barbara Cartland set in the regency time period. That is where I got my love of all things regency!!
