This is an elegant cover by an unknown artist of our couple during a party. Our heroine is exquisite in an icy blue gown with a feathered hairpiece. Our hero wears Scottish regalia. We don't know if they're meeting for the first time or after the excitement.

Little Tongues of Fire

Little Tongues of Fire is #64 in the Camfield series and was published in December 1988. The Duke of Quarrington is concerned enough about his profligate brother in order to welcome the suggestion of his marrying Miss Vina Wallace for her fortune. However, once he meets Vina, he wonders how she'll manage with him.

This is a pretty cover of our couple traveling by ship. Our heroine is pretty in a blue bustle gown while our hero is formal in burgandy. We get the feeling that they are in love and that this journey is one towards a solution.

Saved by Love is #63 in the Camfield series and was published in November 1988. Yursa's grandmother, who is half-French, is scheming to marry her to the Duc de Montveal. Yursa is intrigued with all things French, so goes along with her grandmother to meet the Duc, but a rival's hatred stands between true love!

This is a dramatic picture of our heroine being burned at the stake! A lady, probably the rival, stands triumphantly nearby, but we see the Duc riding to the rescue.

Only a Dream

Only A Dream by Barbara Cartland, is #62 in the Camfield series and was published in October 1988. Isla Kenway, the daughter of one of London's famous music hall performers, fleeing the advances of another, seeks shelter with the Marquis of Longridge! Can true love find a way to exist in these social circles?

This is an interesting cover of our heroine either saying goodbye or pleading for help from the hero. I like her full crinoline gown of white and he is also dressed for evening with a top hat, tuxedo, and cane. We see a picture of the elegance that was 19th century London in this picture.

The Herb for Happiness

The Herb for Happiness is #61 in the Camfield series and was published in September 1988. The Vicar's daughter, Selma, is enamored of the Duke of Mortlyn, but he doesn't notice her until she is able to use her healing powers and herbs after an attempt on his life renders him ill.

Interesting cover of our couple. I like the Tudor style house in the background and the cherub fountain! Our couple looks as if they are standing on the grounds of his estate and sharing a tender moment together! Her poofy gown makes me want to bring them back into style!

An Adventure of Love

An Adventure of Love is #60 in the Camfield series and was published in August 1988. Princess Zorina falls in love right at the time Queen Victoria promises her to the aging King of Leothia. Will true love triumph in spite of queens and decrees?

This cover, by an unknown illustrator, shows our couple riding mountain horses through a rugged terrain. We don't know if they are escaping or out for a ride. Unless you read the blurb on the back cover, you wouldn't know that the heroine is a princess, but these are some of Barbara Cartland's best romances and a story of what Queen Victoria really did with her relatives!

The Goddess of Love

The Goddess of Love is #59 in the Camfield series and was published in July 1988. Corena Melville is in Greece and has fallen in love with Lord Warburton. However, she may have to choose between her love and her father's life!

This is a very beautiful cover of our couple standing at the ruins in Greece. We see a beautiful scene of the countryside and a ruin where our couple has just completed their wedding vows. It is one that makes you want to pick up the book and see what it's all about.
