Georgina Lang's father has died and she prepares for the arrival of the new Earl of Langfield, who is a distant and unknown cousin. She is hopeful of keeping her home by helping him learn the estate but a rash of burglaries end up pushing them into a closer relationship!!

This cover is identical to Bantam #87: Love, Lords, and Ladybirds. I really love the Francis Marshall covers. He was an early illustrator of Barbara Cartland's books and I'm convinced that his beautiful covers along with her romantic stories are the reason her books were best sellers in the 1970's.
