Soft, Sweet, and Gentle is #107 in the Pink Collection and was published in August 2013 by Barbara Cartland. 160 of her unpublished manuscripts are being published under this series.

Georgina Lang's father has died and she prepares for the arrival of the new Earl of Langfield, who is a distant and unknown cousin. She is hopeful of keeping her home by helping him learn the estate but a rash of burglaries end up pushing them into a closer relationship!!

Love's Dream in Peril is #106 in the Pink Collection and published in July 2013. Barbara Cartland's newest story is about Adella May and her friend Jane Hartley, who both seek love and are afraid that it will pass them by.

A Sacrifice for Love is #105 in the Pink Collection and was published in June 2013. Princess Caterina of Thiess visits her friend Princess Harriet of Istria and finds out that an arranged marriage has been proposed for Harriet by Queen Victoria. However, Harriet loves another and convinces Caterina to take her place as the bride in this web of deception.

This cover is identical to Bantam #87: Love, Lords, and Ladybirds. I really love the Francis Marshall covers. He was an early illustrator of Barbara Cartland's books and I'm convinced that his beautiful covers along with her romantic stories are the reason her books were best sellers in the 1970's.

A Heart Finds Love

A Heart Finds Love is #104 in the Pink Collection and was published in May 2013.  Alnina Lester is picking up the pieces after her brother's tragic death in a duel and selling off items from her house in order to pay his debts. She reluctantly advertises her mother's unique wedding gown which attracts the notice of the new Duke of Burlingford, who meets Alnina and asks her to pose as his wife and go with him to Russia, since she speaks Russian.

It's an interesting story but I was a bit confused that the title had died out; usually there is a male relative somewhere that can inherit.

She Wanted Love

She Wanted Love is #103 in the Pink Collection and was published in April 2013.  Lady Eleta Renton leaves her French boarding school to return home and finds out that her stepfather is forcing her to marry the Duke of Hazelware, who is over 50. She runs away with the help of her maid to become governess of the Marquis of Teringford's tiresome child and teaches the child and her father about love eternal.

A Flight to Heaven is #102 in the Pink Collection and was published in March 2013. It is the story of Chiara Fairfax, who has just lost her father and goes to stay with a friend to recover. While there she meets two very different men and before long, gets to travel to Russia where she is reunited with a mysterious and enigmatic stranger!
