We see a romantic cover by Forlag where our couple is celebrating their honeymoon in a remote romantic place in India. Our heroine is wearing a pretty nightgown trimmed with ribbon and lace. They look very happy with their arranged, convenient marriage!

Unfortunately, he was the son of the man her father meant her to marry! This is a pretty cover from Forlag. We see our couple at the opening of a cave. The heroine is lovely in her blue day dress while the hero is also dressed handsomely. We can tell that they care for each other very much!

Terror From the Throne

Terror from the Throne is #114 in the Camfield series and was published in February 1993. King Inged of Klaklov needs a British bride and Queen Victoria chooses Toria, a distant and penniless relative, for this honor. She realizes that the king is wicked and flees on her wedding eve into the arms of a handsome Duke who is willing to help her escape!

In this cover by Fiord Forlag, we see our couple standing in the moonlight on the deck of his yacht! The sea looks stormy which may mirror the troubles that they have escaped. Our heroine wears a pretty evening gown while our hero is more nautically attired.

Walking to Wonderland

Walking to Wonderland is #113 in the Camfield series and was published in January 1993. The Duke of Eaglefield accepts a wager to become a "regular person" by walking from London to his ancestral home. One of his adventures come when he discovers Alysia, who is running away from an unwanted marriage and manages to help her escape. However, as much as he admires her, he can't marry an unknown girl, can he?

We see our couple near a small waterfall where the heroine is praying for help and the hero happens to be walking along. Her dress is clearly Victorian in style, along with her hairdo. The hero's garb still has a Regency look to its style.

Born of Love

Born of Love is #112 in the Camfield series and was published in December 1992. Lady Marcia Woode has become a sensation in London after she dismisses all of her suitors. Her father takes her to France where she meets the Duc de Roux and they become friends while deciding not to fall in love!!

This cover by Forlag shows our hero rescuing the heroine during a dramatic nighttime setting. We get a glimpse of the chateau, but otherwise wouldn't know where the story was set. The horse is the dominant figure in this picture and we get the feeling that the artist enjoys drawing them.

Hidden by Love

Hidden by Love is #111 in the Camfield series and was published in November 1992. Nadina Revon is a governess to a Turkish businessman's daughter. She saves the life of a British agent, Lyle Westley, and soon looks to him to save her from an unwanted marriage! Of course, neither are who they seem to be!

On this cover, we see our couple in process of escape and hiding in a flowering bush. It's a pretty cover with the dark blue of night blending in with the bush and the clothing of our couple along with the flowers, which echo the blonde of our heroine's hair color! The scenery looks gorgeous in this early morning setting.

A Kiss in Rome

A Kiss in Rome is #110 in the Camfield series and was published in October 1992. Alina Langley had dreamed of visiting Rome but she is there incognito as the companion of her best friend! However, an Italian prince becomes interested in her along with their handsome escort, Lord Teverton!

This is a pretty cover by Forlag of our couple in a museum. I like the aspect of space and the emphasis on the statues that we see. The hero is almost a statue himself in his gray suit! The heroine is the bright spot of color and we can see that the hero is intrigued with her! Barbara Cartland's romances set in foreign places are always guaranteed to reveal a bit of history to the reader.
