Sweet Enchantress was published by Pyramid in December 1976 for Barbara Cartland. Zaria Mansford has inherited a fortune and doesn't know quite what to do. She takes the place of a secretary on her own yacht and finds love in the midst of an archeology tour!
Francis Marshall illustrates our couple on the street of an Eastern country. She is dressed casually in a white blouse and our hero wears a pink shirt. Note the hustle and bustle behind them. Francis Marshall does a great job with the modern heroine; this outfit would look modern nowadays.
Barbara Cartland's novels that take place during current times are interesting reads. She placed quite a few in the 1930's-1940's time frame of which she was intimate. I wonder if these were harder to plot and write than those written in the past?
